We’re Thomas and Monisha.
I build Farzana, and Monisha is my wife. We want to do ministry, and Farzana fuels it.
I learned Latin the hard way.
I’m a Classical Conversations graduate. That’s where I learned Latin, and it was hard.
So I built Jam Legio, a Roman-legion adventure that teaches classical Latin, now on the App Store. Farzana comes from the same place: wanting students to become learned, and wanting a teacher’s week to be about teaching.

Learning is hard work. Wisdom is a gift.
As a young man, Daniel was carried off to Babylon and made to learn a new language and a whole new literature. He studied for three years, and he knew where his understanding came from.
Farzana means learned. It takes the busywork off the teacher, so more of the week goes to the learning itself.
Daniel 1:3–4
Taken to Babylon
“…whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.”
Daniel 1:5
Three years of study
“…so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.”
Daniel 1:17
God gave the understanding
“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom.”
Daniel 2:20–21
The giver of wisdom
“Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his… he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.”
Two tears, and a name.
A name Afghans and South Asians know.
Farzana is Persian for intelligent, or learned. It’s also a common name among Afghans and across South Asia, the people I have a heart to reach.

We want to do ministry. Farzana fuels it.
I have a heart for missions, and my wife Monisha and I want to do ministry. Every school on Farzana helps fuel that work.
Farzana is made by Kingdom Sites, my studio, which stands with and gives to organizations doing gospel work in the unreached world.
